How to install Android Studio on Windows: Here are the step-by-step instructions.

Step. 1

  • Download Android Studio: Go to the official Android Studio website at https://developer.android.com/studio and click on the "Download Android Studio" button. 
  • This will start the download process.


Step. 2

  • Run the installer: Once the download is complete, run the installer by double-clicking on the downloaded file. 
  • This will open the Android Studio Setup wizard.


Step. 3

  • Choose components: In the Android Studio Setup wizard, you'll be asked to select the components you want to install. 
  • By default, all components are selected, but you can uncheck any that you don't need. 
  • Click "Next" to proceed.


Step. 4

  • Choose installation path: In the next step, you'll be asked to choose the installation path for Android Studio. 
  • The default location is usually fine, but you can choose a different location if you prefer. 
  • Click "Next" to proceed.


Step. 5

  • Choose start menu folder: In this step, you'll be asked to choose the start menu folder for Android Studio. 
  • Again, the default location is usually fine, but you can choose a different location if you prefer. 
  • Click "Install" to begin the installation process.


Step. 6

  • Wait for installation: The installation process may take some time, depending on your computer's speed.
  •  You'll see a progress bar indicating the installation progress. 
  • Once the installation is complete, click "Next" to proceed.


Step. 7

  • Install Android Virtual Device (AVD): After installing Android Studio, you'll need to set up an Android Virtual Device (AVD) to test your apps. 
  • Click "Finish" to exit the installer and launch Android Studio.


Step. 8

  • Configure Android Studio: When you first launch Android Studio, you'll be prompted to configure some settings, such as the location of the Android SDK and the JDK. 
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.


And that's it! You're now ready to start developing Android apps using Android Studio on your Windows 10 machine.
